MissFits Boot Camp is a local, small business that offers personal and affordable fitness solutions for women of all fitness levels. MissFits is different from the big-box gyms in many ways!

By serving women exclusively, MissFits Boot Camp offers an inviting, positive atmosphere where women are encouraged to explore their fitness and lifestyle potential. We recognize that each woman is unique, and each client is treated as a member of our family.

The sessions at MissFits Boot Camp are based on the latest exercise research, focusing on functional fitness and contemporary metabolic training fitness programming methodologies. This method of training has proven itself to be the best for fat burning, and muscle building results.

A MissFits training sessions use a variety of equipment, however, we do not use any machines. Body weight exercises, free weights, resistance bands, battle ropes suspension trainers, sand bags, stability and med balls and the like make up our training tool arsenal.

MissFits workouts change continually and follow a periodization schedule to provide maximum effectiveness and prevent staleness. We are experts at exercise progressions, regressions, and modifications and we are to meet each individual right where they are fitness-wise.

Beginners are able to work out right next to those that are more experienced. We are also experienced with working with all sorts of physical issues and limitations. This is what personal training is all about.

These are group personal training sessions where the Coach demonstrates the exercise, but does not workout with you, as is the case with most big-box gym exercise “classes.” This allows the Coach to be closely involved in correcting exercise form and providing motivation and encouragement. This keeps you safe and helps you get the most out of your workout.

Essentially, it is personal training in a group environment at a fraction of the cost of hiring a personal trainer.

We also provide additional support by answering your questions and providing nutritional support and guidance with sample meal plans, grocery store tours, etc.
While it is not required we also provide body composition analysis and weight/fat loss tracking using the InBody 520, a non-invasive, easy to use system to track your progress. This is useful because many clients often experience dramatic muscle gains (not the bulky kind) while shedding fat.

This demonstrates to our clients that while the clothes are getting loser and the dress sizes are dropping, the scale may not move that fast. The InBody 520 measure the actual pounds of fat lost as well as the number of pounds of muscle gained – at the same time!
